1st power unit of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant disconnected because of a malfunction on November 2, connected to the network, informs the operator of all nuclear power plants in Ukraine - the Company " Energoatom ".

One of the units was disconnected from the network on the First day of the week to remedy the defect impulse tube at the pipeline feed water.

"After Troubleshooting the unit? 1 of Zaporizhzhya NPP was connected to the grid. On the 4th of November at the Zaporizhzhya NPP in the work are six units. Remarks to operation of the main equipment of operating power units and there are no employees. The total capacity of the generators is 5300 MW ", - reported in the report of the organization.

Zaporizhzhya NPP is the largest energy facility in Ukraine and in the EU with installed capacity of 6 thousand megawatts. At the Zaporizhzhya NPP operated six units with a capacity of 1 million kilowatts each.
