Vice-President of the USA Joe Biden in the course of a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko confirmed readiness of the USA to continue to work to the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, informs the press service of the Ukrainian leader on Thursday.

"The Vice President reaffirmed the readiness of the United States to continue to work for full implementation of the Minsk agreements and restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The parties confirmed a common position on the need of preserving the existing international sanctions to achieve these goals, " - said in the report.

Poroshenko also informed the American side about the situation in the Donbas and highlighted the need for full implementation of the Minsk agreements, " for example, in the release of all hostages, withdrawal of occupying troops and the provision of OSCE access to the entire territory of the occupied Donbas to the border ".
