Kiev plans to stop the supply of electric energy from Russia today or tomorrow, said the head of Ministry of Ukraine Volodymyr demchyshyn.

on the first day of the week Demchyshyn said that Ukraine Wednesday fully stop importing electric energy from Russia. According to him, Kyiv imported electricity due to the shortage of capacity that arose because of temporary outage of one unit at the Rovno NPP in connection with completion of the line Rivne-Kyiv.

"Work on the final stage, I think today or tomorrow is (the cessation of imports - ed.) will happen ", - said Demchyshyn correspondents Sunday, answering the question whether Kiev import electricity from Russia.

He added that in future the import of electricity from Russia are possible depending on the need.

"At the moment there is no such need, ensuring coal takes place adequate, the energy available is, for this reason this need in the moment," said Demchyshyn.
