The President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the head of Barack Obama during talks on the sidelines of the summit "twenty" in Antalya discussed the situation in the Syrian Arab Republic and Ukraine, told correspondents assistant to the Russian leader Yury Ushakov.

"Had the opportunity to speak quite extensively and the talk was on two topics - the first on Syria, then in Ukraine," - said Ushakov, adding that the situation in the Syrian Arab Republic has been given more attention.
