Scientists: the Raisins will predict success in school English researchers came to the conclusion that with the help of raisins in 20 months predict future school success baby. The discovery will help the professionals later to help premature babies develop normally.

Psychologists from the English Institute Warwick learned how school performance and the ability to control their own actions are linked, reports the Daily Mail. To achieve the desired result, they have developed specialized test the game for children aged 20 months.

In the beginning researchers fed eight month old children raisins, accustomed to his taste. Then they showed them the berries and asked not got it down to a specific signal. It turns out that the kid worse were developed coping skills and he failed to comply with the conditions of the game, the lower was his school performance, after 5-6 years. For example, this feature manifested itself in premature infants.

"The usual five-minute game with a twist gives us a new and highly promising tool for assessing how the ability to control their own actions and school performance are linked in normal and premature infants. Namely, these experiments showed us how we can help children born earlier to develop normal speed," announced the head of the study, Dieter Wolke.

According to the experts, specifically the flaw of self-control may be the main prerequisite that premature babies traditionally are less successful and subsequently more horrible to integrate into society. According to them, this simple test can help parents, pediatricians and professionals in psychology to help detect hypoplasia of the kids at an early age and to correct it, helping the kids to learn later than normal.
