Maria Knyazeva. Vice-President of the European Commission on energosoiuz Maros Sefcovic considers the preservation of the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine one of the priorities created under his leadership of the EC energosoiuz.

"For us, the transit route via Ukraine is very important, we need to look at it as a priority not only For EC but also For the whole energosoiuz" - he said, speaking in the European Parliament.

the EU is created energosoiuz, one of the tasks which can be considered as reducing Europe's dependence on gas from Russia. The priorities of the Union is the diversification of sources and routes of deliveries of gas.
