Coalition faction "Batkivshchyna" in the Ukrainian Parliament demands that the government this week to submit for consideration of Verkhovna Rada the draft state budget for 2016, said Tuesday the Deputy head of the faction Serhiy Sobolev.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to adopt the state budget for next year based on the new tax system. Thus, according to the agreements with the IMF during the extended payment program, Kiev is obliged to prepare a budget for the subsequent year with a deficit not greater than 3, 7% of GDP. The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine plans to submit the draft state budget in 2016 for consideration in the Parliament in the coming weeks.

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman initiated the meeting with the deputies Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk to discuss the preparation of the new tax code and the draft state budget.

According to Sobolev, legally, the Parliament had still fifteen September to begin work on the draft state budget for next year, however, the Cabinet had violated all the terms and until now has not submitted the document to the deputies for review.
