Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Lavrov at the initiative of America had telephone conversations with U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry.
The parties discussed the situation around unprovoked attacks on Russian military aircraft over Syria, RIA "news" referring to the letter from the Foreign Ministry. Lavrov have shown Kerry in flagrant violation of the Memorandum between the Russian Federation and the USA about safety in the Syrian Arab Republic, a party of which is Turkey. Also Lavrov and Kerry talked about the prospects of the situation in Syria and the unacceptable actions of Ukrainian authorities to block the supply of electric energy to Crimea.
