The authorities of Leningrad region will send to the Crimea 14 diesel generators
The Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko decided on sending in the Crimea 14 are de-energized diesel generator sets, said the press service of the regional government.

The Crimea in the night of Sunday was completely de-energized because of the erosion in the South of Ukraine of transmission towers that supply electricity to the Peninsula. On the Peninsula entered a state of emergency until full power is restored. Important infrastructure and social facilities of Crimea after the cessation of supplies from Ukraine were connected to emergency power sources, and among them generators.

"our friends in the present difficult situation with the provision of electricity, and we decided part of their backup diesel generator sets to send to the Crimean Peninsula," - said Drozdenko, opening the meeting on housing and utilities.

He said that in coordination with the municipalities in the Crimea will be sent diesel generators from Russian Federation, Kirishi, Tikhvin and Tosno districts, as well as from Pine trees. The Governor ordered quickly test the efficiency and completeness of the facilities and no later than 30 November to send important cargo.

According to Drozdenko, assistance to the Crimea will not affect energonositeli Leningrad region: after carrying out the relevant procedures in the areas will be purchased fresh diesel generator set.

last year the Russian Government approved prepared by the Ministry of regional development scheme of allocating 14 districts and one city of the Republic of Crimea and the Federal city of Sevastopol in 16 regions of Russia.
