The Netherlands will consider a question of Association of Ukraine and the EU after the referendum
The Dutch government will take into account the results of the referendum, taking the opinion as to whether the ratification of the Treaty on the unity of the EU and Ukraine, said on Thursday the Prime Minister of the Netherlands mark Rutte at a press conference, which was broadcast channel of the presidential administration of Ukraine to YouTube.

The Netherlands first decided to be held in April 2016 a referendum on whether the Association between the EU and Ukraine.

"The law is clear enough. The state is obliged to consider its decision after the referendum. We will see the results of the referendum and consider these results. First We will see the results of the referendum, then there will be discussions, " said Rutte on mutual press conference with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, which is located in the Netherlands with an official visit.

Rutte said that the Association agreement will help Ukraine to build a sustainable economy and work for democratic changes in the country and to fight against illegal activities of officials.

Poroshenko said the ratification by the Netherlands of the Treaty on the unity of the economy will help Ukraine get closer to European standards, as well as to develop trade relations with European countries.

Ukraine and the European Parliament ratified the Association agreement between Ukraine and the EU, part of which is the provision on free trade area. Russia is concerned with the introduction from 1 January 2016 in the provisions of the FTA and fears of an influx of duty free items from the EU through Ukraine, which wants to enter the food embargo and customs duties for Ukraine on 1 January 2016.
