German supermodel Claudia Schiffer and her English producer husband Matthew Vaughn, whom she married in 2002, are expecting their third child. According to Schiffer`s representative, the 39-year-old model is five and a half months pregnant and is due to give birth in May.

The successful model later on confirmed her pregnancy, releasing a statement on Friday, January 15 that she is indeed pregnant with third child. "We are delighted with the news and can`t wait to add to our family," her statement read. The baby will be joining Claudia and Matthew`s six-year-old son Caspar and five-year-old daughter Clementine.

Claudia Schiffer has previously stated that motherhood had changed her entire attitude to her career. "When I met my husband I said, `You know what, this is important. I`m not going to work weekends any more.` And when I had kids, I became even more careful," she shared. "Modeling work is fine because you can do one day here, two days there, you`re never long gone."
