The socialists of Moldova: we need a referendum on foreign policy
The opposition in Moldova Party of socialists (psrm) in favour of holding the referendum on the choice of foreign policy course of the state, about it it is reported in the decisions of the party.

in Chisinau on Sunday hosted the XIII Congress of the psrm. It was attended by over 2000 delegates. Among the invited honorary guests - deputies of the State Duma from party "Fair Russia" and " United Russia ", member of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from the party Die Linke Andrew and great service, former Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Deputy head of the party "Socialists" Leonid Kozhara. The psrm supports the development of friendly relations with Russia, the denunciation of the Association agreement Moldova-EU.

The participants of the Congress noted that the psrm supports the strengthening of Moldovan statehood, return to the teaching process of the Moldovan language and history of Moldavia (now in educational institutions studying the discipline "History of Romanians" - approx. Ed), the preservation of the neutrality of the state and refusal of NATO membership. The Socialists also propose to solve the Transnistrian conflict through federalization of Moldova.

"The Congress concluded that the implementation of the tasks necessary to hold early parliamentary elections and to make the centre-left in Parliament overwhelming majority, to establish a referendum to determine the foreign policy vector of development of the state, and amend the Constitution in this part, which concerns the procedure for the election of President to the head of state was elected by citizens ", - stated in the decisions of the Congress.

in the process of the event were head of the party "Fair Russia" Sergey Mironov, people's Deputy of Gosduma from the "United Russia" Irina Rodnina. The Russian guests expressed solidarity with the Moldovan socialists, wishing to realize their aims.

The socialists, together with non-parliamentary "Our party" in September. In the center of Chisinau, the Parliament building, established tent camps psrm and NP. Both groups are demanding the resignation of the country's leadership (President, speaker) and appointment of early elections to the Parliament.
