He worked under the legendary "Pencil" - Mikhail Rumyantsev. Sunny colors of yellow hair, wide striped pants and a plaid cap. The graduate school of circus arts, Oleg Popov invariably used in their rooms all learnt: juggling, which began circus career, eccentric, juggling, physical Comedy, parody and even acrobatics. In 1991 Oleg Popov went to Germany. For almost a quarter of a century has provided its legendary and brand new rooms almost all the best circuses in the world. Many of his jokes, such as "Sleep on the wire" and "Ray," became a classic of world circus.

In 2015, for the first time after his departure he returned to Russia. In 2015, the same at the international festival of circus arts "Master" held in Sochi Oleg Popov was awarded a richly deserved title of "the Legend of the circus." The audience gave a standing ovation. And always funny and always a happy clown cried and promised to come to Russia on tour. And here I am.
