7 million people die each year from air pollution Breathing is the most fundamental function of our body, we do it all day, every day. So it's hard not to think about the environmental problem that affects us all.

Analyst at king's College in London, Andrew Grieve said that the effect is cumulative, from the first breath to the last breath. Small children, the elderly, people who have respiratory diseases. Everyone is exposed to. Still, any reduction in air pollution benefits all of us.

According to the world health organization, air pollution is responsible for up to 7 million deaths annually. This means that one in eight deaths worldwide can be attributed to air pollution. And urban areas are among the most affected. The report of the Royal College of London found that about 9,500 people die every year in the UK capital because of the level of nitrogen dioxide and fine particulate matter. So what can we do about it?

The use of clean fuels means clear skies and in a perfect world we would all use electric vehicles. But there is another way in which we could improve the air in our city, according to the research group of Martin Williams. Contrary to what we have learned over the past few decades, he says, we should switch our cars back to gasoline and diesel fuel.

Diesel cars give more miles per gallon, and therefore create fewer carbon dioxide emissions. They were released as a way of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In fact, the international Council on clean transportation has shown that modern diesel cars are on average 7 times more harmful. And they also pollute the air with particulate matter.
