Liu Zhenmin, Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of China, said at a press conference in Beijing that China's sovereignty over the main part of the South China sea will not be affected by the decision of the International court, which reversed in the majority of cases in favor of the Philippines.

Liu said, imposing a ban on the identification of air defense zone in the region that the planes flying over the waters will first need to inform China about the threat level. "If our security is threatened, we certainly have the right to establish air defense system," said Liu. Ambassador of Beijing in the United States said on Tuesday that the resolution "will increase conflict and even confrontation."

Taiwan - officially the Republic of China rejected the ruling and sent a warship to patrol the South China sea. President Tsai ing-Wen ascended the frigate in the South of Taiwan before his departure, stating that the sentence was in serious violation of the right of Taiwan to the Islands in the South China sea and adjacent waters.
