10-year-old boy died in the pond garden society "the Riparian", not far from Naberezhnye Chelny. Child sucked into the pipe of the pumping station. It is known that the pond was intended for agricultural purposes and swimming in it was forbidden. Upon the death of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case.

10-year-old Igor neighbours garden society "Coastal" knew from birth. The boy, according to them, was very well-mannered and capable. This weekend he and his parents came to the grandmother with the grandfather from Naberezhnye Chelny. Sunday morning, he ran out of the house. It seemed for a while.

It so happened that at that moment, when Igor went with friends to the lake minder of the horticultural society ran the pump to fill the water level in the storage vessel. The water is pumped from the Kama river, then gardeners use it for irrigation. As everything occurred actually until the end is unclear, it seems Igor was sitting on the tube and in clothes. So the time had not yet bathed.A local man saw the boy fell into the water and never emerged. The man jumped after him and he was almost sucked into the pipe. Out helped him. After this child was looking for hours.

In the search were employees of the MOE, friends of Igor and the residents of the garden society. Dead baby found when it jammed the pump. The remains of a body were recovered only after the pipe was cut to pieces. Currently on this fact the Investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of Tatarstan opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 109 of the criminal code "Causing death by imprudence".

Now, after the tragedy, all in one voice repeat, that the artificial pond was not suited for swimming. However, local residents assert that there were bathing for decades. One of the main issues, which now have to respond to the investigation, why the pipe was not equipped with protective grid, which probably could have saved the child's life. Meanwhile, law enforcement officers remind, bathe only in the resolved places, and children to be near water, you need only adults.
