A suicide bomber blew himself up in Saudi Arabia A suicide bomber blew himself up near the US Consulate in Saudi Arabia. Early Monday, the Saudi police in Jeddah, became suspicious after seeing the man who was circling near the Parking lot, according to the news Agency.

The explosion occurred about 33 feet (10 meters) from the wall of the Consulate. Witnesses told CNN that the explosion occurred around 3 a.m. local time. At least two policemen were slightly injured in the attack.

The Saudi news Agency reported that the police sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The report did not specify how many people were injured.

Police found three devices inside the car, which the terrorist wanted to blow up. Unit the bomb squad used a robot to disarm them, said the journalist. The bombing came after a week of attacks in Turkey, Bangladesh and Iraq, which left behind many casualties.
