Obama congratulated Muslims in the United States since the beginning of the Holy month of Ramadan President Obama made a statement on Sunday evening and congratulated Muslims in the United States and around the world since the beginning of the Holy month of Ramadan.

"For many this month have the opportunity to focus on reflection and spiritual growth, forgiveness, patience and perseverance, compassion for those less fortunate, and think about the unity of all communities," he said in a written statement.

"Here in the United States we are United with Muslim communities. There are those whose heritage can be traced back to the very beginning of our nation, as well as those who just got here," he said. These include "doctors, lawyers, artists, teachers, scientists, community organizers, public servants and military personnel."

Then, in contrast to the statements of Donald trump by temporarily blocking the Muslims from entering the United States, the President said: "I firmly stand next to the Muslim American communities. Many people want to divide us or restrict our religious freedom or civil rights." "We will continue to welcome immigrants and refugees in our country, including those who are Muslims," he added.

"I do not back down. We need to do something. We have a problem in this country. We have radical Islamic terrorism in this country and around the world. This is a problem . And it's a temporary ban. I'm not saying that the ban will be permanent.. We need to figure out what's going on, "said trump, prospective Republican presidential candidate.

In a White house statement, Mr. Obama, thus, drew attention to the plight of those displaced in the fighting in Syria and elsewhere: "Too many Muslims may not celebrate Ramadan with comfort in their own homes or to afford to celebrate the holiday with their children. We must continue to work together to alleviate the suffering of the thesis the wealthy. This sacred time reminds us of our common obligations to uphold the dignity of every person".

As in previous years, the President said that he wants to take the number of Muslim Americans to the White house to celebrate Eid, the festival marking the conclusion of Ramadan.
