Ukrainian GKB "South" together with a foreign partner is developing a new anti-aircraft artillery complex short-range actions.




A new weapon must replace the Soviet anti-aircraft system ZSU "Shilka" and sprk " Tunguska ", informs "news Agency" referring to sources in the military sector. Part of the advanced complex is bound, for example, to enter anti-aircraft artkompleks from the German Rheinmetall. GKB "southern" will provide integration of all systems and provision of guidance systems and fire control of the new weapons. Yesterday the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a law that predusmatrivaet additional allocation of 7, 1 billion hryvnia (more than $ 275 million) to the state budget on defense and security, total defense budget amounted to 129 billion hryvnia (about 4, 8 billion). The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine laid in the state budget for 2017 in the defence and security of 5% of GDP or 129 billion hryvnia (about 4, 8 billion dollars), fifteen billion hryvnia (about 560 million dollars) more than last year.
