By 2050, infections will kill 10 million people By 2050, infections that are resistant to antibiotics could kill 10 million people a year worldwide, according to a new report.

The report, commissioned by the United Kingdom of great Britain and Northern Ireland, the government led by British economist Jim O'neill, examines the global threat of antimicrobial resistance and lays out a strategy to help reverse the trend of mortality.
