A jailbroken iPhone has helped to obtain data from the San Bernardino Due to the fact that the iPhone terrorist has been compromised, investigators were able to answer some questions concerning the massacre in San Bernardino.

Apple and the FBI could not find common ground. The FBI demanded from the Corporation to come up with a program through which it would be possible to hack iPhone terrorist. In turn, the Corporation refused, citing the fact that then it will be possible to hack into every iPhone in the world. Hackers from the private sector, hired by the FBI to assist the investigators to access the phone, which was in the center of a legal dispute between the government and Apple.

One of the points of contention during the legal battle there was an argument from Apple that the FBI has already received the relevant data from the ICloud account associated with the phone and other data that is not stored on the device. From the iPhone would be of little use.

After the massacre in San Bernardino investigators did not have enough time to quickly find the location of the attackers. The phone helped investigators learn that the terrorists are receiving help from friends and family. The phone contains no evidence of contacts with other supporters of ISIS, or the use, of encrypted data.
