Duterte not going to stop the war on drugs The President of the Philippines promised on Friday that will retain its controversial campaign against drugs as long as he remains President.

Rodrigo Duterte was greeted with a roar of approval and chants of "Duterte, Duterte" when he came on stage in Singapore to refer to members of the Filipino community. He said he will not stop "until the last drug dealer and a drug Lord not last ..." and at this point he motioned, showing the cutting of the throat.

"It can't be a crime. I'll kill you if you destroy my country," he added,
grateful to asking the crowd to look at the crime rate. "Almost there," he said. Public attention to the controversial campaign intensified on Monday when Duterte admitted to personally killing suspects during his tenure as mayor of Davao city.
Later, in the Philippines, Duterte said he killed three people. "I killed to protect people. I'm not a dictator to kill their political opponents to stay in power."

During his speech, Duterte also lashed out at the United States. "We are members of the United Nations, right? If you are against my policy or behavior, go to the United Nations and complain. Then the UN and its organs will investigate the matter,"he said. "Don't you dare blame me, if I was a boy. I am the President of the Republic of the Philippines," he added.

Duterte said that he hopes that Donald trump will be elected President of the United States because he loves the personality of the trump and the way he speaks. He said that trump told him that Duterte have chosen the right path in their country. But good relations with the next President will not be enough to heal the rift between the US and the Philippines.
