Members of an elite squad of anti-terrorism in Indonesia has killed 3 terrorists during a RAID Wednesday at a home South of the capital Jakarta.

Police spokesman, senior Commissioner said the suspects threw a grenade at the agents of the Department for combating terrorism in the country during a RAID on a rented house in Banten. Three suspects were killed and a fourth was detained. Agents who raided the house found a homemade bomb, which was described as "fairly large." She was blown up at the scene, the suspects were reportedly planning an attack on new year's eve.

Indonesia's President Joko Widodo praised the quick actions of the officers, and urged residents to be vigilant in reporting potential terrorist threats. "We hope that people are always wary, looking right and left. If there are things that must be brought to the attention, report it immediately to the authorities," he said.

"I think that all countries are experiencing the same thing. Therefore, we hope that the community will help to protect the country from terrorism, from radicalism." Earlier this year, gunmen opened fire near a Starbucks in a busy entertainment and shopping district in Central Jakarta. Two of them were killed and dozens injured in the attack. ISIL has claimed responsibility for the attack.
