The Prime Minister of Israel summoned the American Ambassador Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the US Ambassador and attacked the Obama administration after its refusal to veto the resolution of the UN Security Council condemning the construction of Israel's settlements in the West Bank.

The United States abstained in the vote on the resolution, and demanded Netanyahu to veto, as is usually the case with resolutions. US Ambassador Daniel Shapiro was caused by the Prime Minister of Israel to deal with this sticky situation. "We can confirm that Ambassador Shapiro will meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu tonight." said the state Department spokesman to CNN. 10 other ambassadors from the countries also supported the resolution. Netanyahu lashed out at the Obama administration in its weekly Cabinet meeting.

"From the information we have, we have no doubt that the Obama administration initiated a resolution, that it was accepted," Netanyahu, speaking in Hebrew, told the Cabinet on Sunday. "For more than a decade, the American administration and the Israeli government did not agree on the construction of settlements, but we agreed that the Security Council is not the place to solve this problem," Netanyahu said.

Earlier on Sunday, Israel called on the ambassadors of the 10 countries that voted for the resolution. The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Israel said that the ambassadors from China, France, Russia, UK, Angola, Egypt, Japan, Spain, Ukraine and Uruguay were called" to Express our deep outrage and frustration with the vote of countries that consider themselves friends of Israel," said the press Secretary of the Ministry, Emmanuel Nahshon.

The Security Council approved the resolution with 14 votes, the US abstained. 4 countries have no permanent ambassadors in Israel.
