Iran launched another missile A U.S. official reports that Iran has launched a defensive anti-aircraft guided missile (SAM) on Wednesday. The missile was launched from the same site that Iran had used for their failed tests medium-range missiles earlier this month.

After initial trials, the national security Advisor, Michael Flynn said that the United States has put Tehran "on notice," while the President of the United States Donald trump tweeted it about Iran "playing with fire".

The official said that the shelling was probably associated with a 10-day memory of the 1979 revolution. "We are closely monitoring developments," the official said. Tensions between the US and Iran grows during the first few weeks of the presidency of the trump.

February 3, the U.S. Treasury Department imposed new sanctions against the country, accusing Tehran in violation of the resolutions of the UN Security Council. The new sanctions focused on 25 individuals and companies associated with the ballistic missile program of Iran. Iran said that the US sanctions "contrary to the obligations of the United States", reports the official Agency IRNA, which quoted the Ministry of foreign Affairs.

The missile program of Iran has exclusively "for defensive purposes," said the foreign Ministry. Trump and his administration are longtime critics of the nuclear deal former U.S. President Barack Obama with Iran, saying, before he was elected that he will "change the conditions". Last week, Flynn said the international community was "too tolerant of bad behavior of Iran."
