Trump held talks with the Prime Minister of Israel President Donald trump rejected the established framework of the States in the middle East and met in the White house with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, trump announced his desire to achieve a "final deal."

"The United States will encourage the world," trump said at a press conference with Netanyahu. "We will work on it very, very hard." On the question of whether he is ready to abandon the idea of two States, trump said, "I look at two States and one state, and I like the fact that both parties would come to agreement." He continued: "If Israel and the Palestinians are happy, I'm happy too." "The parties themselves, which should negotiate directly. Both sides, Israel and the Palestinians will have to compromise."

UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, speaking in Cairo, along with the Minister of foreign Affairs of Egypt, stressed that the Israelis and Palestinians must not abandon the commitment of the two States. The night before the arrival of Netanyahu to the White house, senior administration officials have questioned the idea of two States that the international community still holds as the primary basis for the agreement.

Netanyahu, who supported the idea of two States in 2009 under pressure from the Obama administration dodged a question about whether he still supports the concept. He also did not give a direct answer to the question whether he would comply with a request by trump to "contain" the construction of settlements.
