Russian spy ship is 30 miles off the coast of Connecticut, according to the official defense of the United States, while armed Russian military aircraft recently conducted a "false attack" against a U.S. ship.

The ship is based with the Northern fleet in the North sea, but stayed in Cuba before conducting patrols along the Atlantic coast and it is expected that the ship will return there after the last mission.

The ship is equipped with many high-tech spy equipment and is designed to intercept signals intelligence. The official noted that the U.S. Navy "closely watching him."

Another employee of the Ministry of defence said that one of the planes, jet su-24 flew within 200 yards of the U.S. ship "porter" is moving at a speed of 500 knots (570 mph) and flew 300 feet above the water. The Navy said that the plane had not crossed the deck of "porter", but appreciated that the su-24 conducts a "false attack" on an American ship, according to officials.

Two additional Russian aircraft, Maritime patrol aircraft Il-38 and another su-24 was also flying around. The crew of the "porter" tried to communicate by radio with the Russian aircraft, but received no response.

Moscow denies on Tuesday, reporting that its planes did not commit dangerous moves. The representative of the Ministry of defense of Russia Igor Konashenkov told Russian state media, "There was not a single incident involving Russian military aircraft in the Black sea."
