In Chicago, an unidentified man broke into the apartment and started shooting. Police say 5 people were shot, 3 of them died in the apartment on the southwest side of the city.

Police and paramedics on Wednesday were called to a house in Brighton Park, where two people were found dead and three were injured.

According to police, 18-year-old and 19-year-old man was fatally wounded in the head. Another victim of unknown age was shot in the torso. The man was taken to hospital and then pronounced dead.

Police say another 18-year-old boy with injuries was taken to hospital in critical condition. 5 the victim is in critical condition with wounds of the body.

Authorities say the circumstances of the shooting are not clear. Police say the victim was in the apartment when an unknown man came inside and started shooting. The circumstances are being investigated.
