Two people were injured when a sniper accidentally shot Tuesday during a speech of the President of France Francois Hollande, who delivered a speech in the Western city Villognon, said the mayor.

Hollande was not injured, but two other people were injured, said mayor Claude Guitton. Their injuries are not life-threatening. According to CNN affiliate BFM-TV, a local police officer from the security services, who were guarding the area for the visit of President accidentally discharged the weapon. The sniper was located on the top of the building, told BFM-TV.
