In South Sudan plane crash-landed Commercial aircraft on Monday made an emergency landing in bad weather at the airport in South Sudan. Onboard there were 43 people injured.

"It's a miracle, said Century Ateni Ateni, representative of the President of South Sudan. "There are only minor injuries. All survived". The incident occurred at the airport in Wau on the North-West of the country.
Atani said that the pilot flew over the runway, dropping to the dirt ground.

The right wing of the aircraft crashed into the car, and on the right side of the plane the fire started, said Haute. The pilot opened the door near the tail, which did not burn. "The crew managed to evacuate all said Ateni. Initially, the authorities are unable to find all the passengers, because they disappeared from the scene.

Wal Ochieng, an employee of the airlines of South Sudan, said the plane was carrying 40 adults and three children. 25 people were taken to hospitals, said Achieng. Three remain hospitalized with minor injuries, said Haute.

"The weather was not very good," said Achieng, referring to the very overcast conditions. The plane was heading from the capital, Juba, in Wau. Juba is in the southern part of the country. The fire initially caused many people to think that the survivors will not.

South Sudan, which gained its independence from Sudan in 2011, has endured war, political instability and hunger. It is not a landlocked country in East Central Africa, bordering Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Central African Republic.
