The US President Donald trump said he was willing to limit its nuclear program of North Korea, if China does not change the situation, saying that if Beijing does not help to solve the problem, then "we will" alone.

"China can either decide to help us with North Korea or they don't," said trump in an interview published Sunday in the Financial Times. "If they help, it will be very good for China, and if they do, it will be bad for everyone."

Trump administration has repeatedly emphasized its high concern about the nuclear threat of North Korea. Last month the Secretary of state Rex Tillerson visited China to exert pressure on neighbor North Korea, to help mitigate this threat, and this week trump is planning to host President of China XI Jinping, where he intends to raise this issue.

On the campaign trail and after taking office, trump said that China is responsible for the continuing spread of nuclear weapons in North Korea. He said in an interview with the Financial Times that he plans to talk to si about this situation and to use trade as an "incentive" to talk with China about its elimination.

Trump has repeatedly stated that it will take aggressive actions toward China to cut the US trade deficit with the country. But if negotiations with C will not lead to the desired result on how to force Beijing to resolve the North Korean nuclear issue, trump said the United States will take action.

"If China is not going to solve the problem of North Korea, we'll do it," said trump Financial Times. Asked to clarify whether he thinks that the US can solve the problem without China, trump said, "completely."

The United States argued that China had not done enough to financial pressures, given that Beijing is the only real ally of North Korea and it accounts for 70% of all trade of the country. China has repeatedly stated that its influence on North Korea is exaggerated, and that the U.S. and South Korea should stop to counter North Korea's annual military exercises.

Thousands of U.S. troops and South Korea are currently participating in annual joint exercise Foal Eagle, which ends April 30. Speaking last month in South Korea, Tillerson warned that the US would leave military action on the table concerning North Korea.
