British authorities on Wednesday arrested three more people in connection with the attack in London last week, said the Metropolitan police of London. The authorities have also conducted two additional searches in East London.

2 people were arrested in the street in Ilford, and the third was detained in the residence of Ilford when the police searched the place, said the authorities. 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts, another 33-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of drug possession. The third suspect was also arrested on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts, police said.
