Trump met with the Prime Minister of India Narendra modi The first meeting of President Donald trump with the Prime Minister of India Narendra modi at the White house on Monday was long on proclamations of friendship and a short confrontation on sensitive issues of policy.

The Duo has streamlined communication between India and the United States during a series of events, announcing military cooperation between the US and India. Although most of the controversial visit, the emphasis on military cooperation with India is forcing the new President to plunge into the delicate world of Indian-Pakistani relations.

At least publicly, two world leader looked like best friends, sharing several hugs and handshakes during a visit. The meeting between the President and the Prime Minister, who heads one of the fastest growing economies in the world, was filled with controversial issues, but publicly it was not visible.

Trump pointed to his disagreement during a meeting at the White house, but struck an optimistic tone. "We agree with the majority of things, and I would say that by the end of the day we all agree," said trump. Trump and modi spoke in detail on military cooperation during a ceremony of the Rose garden, where the two leaders made joint statements.

Trump called partnership security "incredibly important" and said that the two countries will work together to "destroy radical Islamic terrorism." While the administration trump hopes to "deepen" its relationship with India, the official added that they "are also interested in continuing our cooperation with Pakistan" and "concerned about the tensions between India and Pakistan."
