North Korea launched a missile towards Japan North Korea fired medium-range missiles on Tuesday, which flew into the waters East of the Korean Peninsula.

The shell might have landed in the exclusive economic zone of Japan, which extends 200 nautical miles from the coastline, said the employee of public relations of the Ministry of defense of Japan Takahiro Hirano.

It is the 11th-missile test of North Korea this year, it took place amid growing frustration with U.S. President Donald trump in connection with the lack of progress in curbing the programs of Pyongyang's nuclear and ballistic missiles. Trump responded quickly to the launch on Twitter. "North Korea just launched another missile. This guy has something better in his life?" he asked, referring to North Korean leader Kim Jong Ynu.

US Pacific command reported that it tracked the missile on 37 minutes and described it as "ground-based ballistic missile of intermediate range." Japan announced that the flight time was 40 minutes. "The North American command aerospace defense (NORAD), estimated that the rocket launch from North Korea was not a threat to North America," reads the statement of the U.S. Pacific command.

On Friday, trump said that US patience with North Korea "ended".
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told reporters on Tuesday that the launch of "ignoring repeated warnings from the international community" and that "the launch of this time shows that his risk is further increased".

Data since launch are still being analyzed, but researchers point to the similarity of this starting with the may test of a ballistic missile intermediate-range Hwasong-12 , which reached an altitude of over 2100 km and flew at 787 km.
