The canadian pop singer will take the stage due to "bad behaviour", according according to a statement from the Beijing municipal Bureau of culture in response to requests from fans about the lifting of the ban.

"His series of misconduct during performances in China, caused a public outrage," - said in a statement on July 18. "In order to regulate the internal market and clean up the environment, we consider it inappropriate to attract players with bad behavior".

23-year-old singer is currently in his third world tour of Asian countries in Japan, India, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore and Indonesia. Bieber's official website shows no scheduled tour dates in mainland China. But, there seems to be some confusion about a possible stop in Shanghai.

According to one website that sells concert tickets Bieber, the singer has scheduled performances on September 16 in Beijing and 23 September in Shanghai. It was reported that the money for the tickets will be refunded if approval is not achieved.

A source at the Chinese cultural body, approves the concerts in this city, said that it is unlikely that Shanghai will allow Bieber to be there, given the decision that Beijing has already made.
