Oracle has tightened the rules for the provision of products and services to Russian customers from the oil and gas industry, included in the American sanctions list, writes the newspaper "Kommersant" referring to the letter of 12 January.

The Oracle warned the Russian partners on the implementation of the new restrictions against oil and gas sector. The story is about the prohibition to grant export or re-export of goods, services and technology in support of deepwater and Arctic offshore exploration and production or shale projects that have potential for oil production if they involved a person falling under American directives N4.

The ban applies to projects starting after January 28. Attached is a list of organizations that fall under punishment.
