Alex competed in British reality programme Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, and eventually won the show. The series saw him living with a number of other famous people, including born-again Christian Stephen Baldwin. The two men became close, and had a number of philosophical debates while living together.

"In the gym yesterday I was thinking I will start praying again," Alex revealed in his column for British magazine Star. "I`ve lost touch since Big Brother but I haven`t changed my opinion. Praying is good, even if it`d just focusing on what you want. If you`re happy, it makes everyone around you happy. I haven?t been in touch with Stephen, but I must give him a call. We had lots of debates on religion - I found it interesting."

Alex often spends time pondering whether there is a God, but admits he finds the subject baffling. He tries not to get too caught up in considering his own place in the world, even thought he knows he will remain relevant for years to come.

"It does make your head hurt if you start thinking about it too much, especially if you look at the stars and think about how insignificant we all are... or how significant," he said.
