The baby weighed a healthy 7lbs and Amy and her fiancé Darren Legallo were thrilled to welcome their first child together into the world. The 35-year-old actress has now left the unnamed hospital where she gave birth and has returned to the family home.

"Mom and baby are home and doing great," Amyýs representative revealed. "Everyone`s healthy and happy."
Earlier this year, Amy revealed she wouldn`t choose a name for her daughter until she had got to know the baby. The Oscar-nominated star insisted she would be considering a wide range of names and planned to settle on a conventional moniker.

"I`m gonna have to really meet the person before I know the name," Amy said in January. "I tend to be attracted to more traditional names, but who knows?"

Amy met Darren in an acting class in 2001. They got engaged in 2008 but have yet to set a date for their wedding.
