The U.S. and South Korea resume joint naval exercises The United States and South Korea for the First time in six months to resume the overall naval exercises during the Korean program on exchange of experience between units of the US marine corps and South Korea, reports Yonhap news Agency citing military.

According to the Agency, these exercises have not been held since may. On the First day of the week the naval forces of both countries will start the General teachings of the duration of two weeks near the port of Pohang on the Southeast coast of South Korea. The exercise will involve about five hundred soldiers of the South Korean marine Corps and of the 3rd expeditionary force, U.S. marine corps, who is stationed on Okinawa in the Japanese Islands. Also be involved the Korean amphibious car amphibious marine corps (KAAV).
