This result has not helped "to soldiers" to continue performance in the Europa League this year. Despite the best difference of scored and missed goals, because of the defeat in the game with the Czech "Victoria Plzen" the Moscow team took fourth place in the group.

Meeting G, held on Wednesday in Madrid, ended with the score 3: 0 in favor of CSKA.

Goals from CSKA scored Fedor Chalov (37th minute), Georgi Schennikov (43) and Arnor Sigurdsson (73).

The home defeat was the largest in history for real Madrid in the European Cup.
