Chipmunk thinks he is more influential than the Prime Minister The `Chip Diddy Chip` star insists it is unfair to blame urban music for any rise in violent crime, because rappers are not responsible for other people?s actions.

When asked if he thought there was a link between rap music and violence, he said: "There`s no point in pointing the fingers at rappers any more. I feel that if a rapper and the Prime Minister were to walk into a school together, then the rapper would have more of an effect than the Prime Minister."

The 19-year-old star also admitted he wants to crack America - but only once he has "locked down" success in his native UK.

He told BANG Showbiz: I`ve been back and forth to Los Angeles for a hot minute and I have got friends in very high places who`ve got plans for me to go over there. I want to lock down England definitely first though."
