Pence warned US allies in NATO from buying weapons from "potential adversaries" . Washington does not want U.S. allies in NATO bought weapons from potential opponents, said at the Munich security conference, U.S. Vice-President Mike Pence.

"We have made clear that We will not stand idly by when the allies will acquire weapons of our opponents," he said.

during the last period of time, the U.S. was much criticized Turkey due to the purchase of Russian anti-aircraft missile systems s-400 and even threatened with punishment.

Moscow and Ankara have signed a contract for production and delivery of s-400 in the early winter of 2017. Under the agreement Turkey will receive four divisions of the latest SAM $ 2. 5 billion dollars. As was stated by the head of the Federal service for military-technical cooperation Dmitry Shugaev, the complexes will go to Turkey in the fall. The agreement also includes technological interaction.

This deal has caused great concern in the US capital. According to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the US continues to exert serious pressure on Ankara.

USA even offered Turkey to abandon the purchase of s-400 in exchange for Patriot air defense system. The state Department blessed the opportunity to implement these systems on 3, 5 billion dollars, but Ankara rejected the proposal because it did not involve any technology transfer, no discount. As emphasized in Turkey, the Russian systems will be cheaper.
