The 32-year-old glamour model has announced the new track will be available for sale on July 12. The busty beauty did not reveal the name of the song, or what genre of music it is, but said she loves it and hopes her fans will too.

"I can at last reveal my first solo single is out monday 12 july i love the tune an hope you guys do to xxx (sic)," Katie wrote on her Twitter page.

Katie tried to launch a career as a singer in 2005, when she made a bid to represent the UK at the Eurovision song contest. Heavily pregnant with her second child, Katie donned a pink crystal-encrusted catsuit to perform Not Just Anybody live on TV.

Despite her best efforts, Katie did not win enough votes to perform at the international concert.

Later that year, Katie and her then-husband Peter Andre released a version of Disney song A Whole New World, which reached number 20 in the UK singles chart.

Katie and Peter divorced last year and she is now married to cage fighter Alex Reid.
