Biathlete Loginov won silver in the sprint at the world Championships in Sweden . Biathlete Alexander Loginov won silver in the sprint race at the world Championships in Ostersund, Sweden.

The Russian athlete was able to avoid near misses on the shooting range, however, yielded no more than 14 seconds Johannes Bö?. Norwegian Biathlete, for its part, made one mistake. Third place was won by French athlete Quentin Fillon maillet.

High result allowed Loginov to retain second place in the overall standings of the world Cup.

The rest of the citizens of Russia was not included in the ten most well-known. Evgeny Garanichev won the 19th place, Dmitry Malyshko and Matvey Eliseev - 33 and 51 respectively.

Loginova medal was the first for team Russia at the world Championships in ö²stersund. The last time Russian athletes stood on the podium in the sprint at the world Championships in 2009: then Olga Zaitseva won the bronze medal.
