In Vladivostok were initiated dialogues of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN, the leader started their 1st encounter with communication one-on-one.

Putin himself paid homage to Kim Jong-UN on his re-election to the highest office and said it's a pleasure. According to the Russian leader, He is confident that the visit will further promote the relationship and help the process of positive resolution of the nuclear issue.

The head of the Russian Federation welcomed the efforts of Kim Jong-UN to resolve the North Korean nuclear issue and the normalization of the dialogue with the United States.

for its part, the North Korean leader told Putin that nourishes the hope for an exchange of views on the situation on the Korean Peninsula. He expressed the hope that the dialogue with the President of Russia will be meaningful.

the dialogues are held on the island of Russian in the home campus of far Eastern Federal University.

After the conversation tete-a-tete meeting will continue in an expanded format with participation of delegations of two countries.
