Ukrainian businessman Pavel Klimets was arrested in the capital of Russia on suspicion in bribery in especially large size, writes "Kommersant" citing a source in law enforcement.

It is noted that Klimets has placed in a detention facility on April 12. The businessman's lawyers appealed the court's decision on arrest in the appellate instance of the Moscow city court which has directed business on new consideration, however, klimets remained under arrest.

The newspaper said that the visit of a multimillionaire is associated with his attempt to discuss the fate of his assets in Donbas, the supervision of which he in fact lost after the start of the internal Ukrainian conflict in 2014.
