In the Russian capital tied crime boss Evgeny Remezov suspected of attempt at the head of the Volgograd region Andrey Bocharov in 2016, said the public relations Center of the FSB.

The purpose of the assassination was to intimidate the head of the region for his actions on alienation of municipal property in the Central market of Volgograd. The market was in a long-term lease at controlled Remezov commercial structures.

According to the FSB, there are five participants, relevant to the crime, 3 of them were caught in 2017. It clarifies that one disappeared in the United States, where serving a sentence for a crime committed within the United States.
