Jessica Simpson will only eat tofu if it`s coated in ketchup.

The 29-year-old singer is extremely vocal about her love of food, frequently raving about how much she adores fried chicken, burgers and other calorific treats. She is not a big fan of healthy snacks, but decided to experiment with tofu last night.

The blonde beauty was surprised to discover she loved the soy-based Asian delicacy - but only when it was smothered in tomato sauce.

"I ate tofu for the first time last night! It was yummy! You know your from Texas when you have to dip it in ketchup. Ha (sic)," Jessica wrote on her Twitter page.

Jessica recently travelled around the world investigating different culture`s ideas about beauty for her reality show The Price of Beauty. The experience expanded Jessica`s mind and palate, with her eventually agreeing to eat deep-fried bugs in Thailand because they are supposed to enhance a woman`s health and looks.
