Vladimir Putin signed the law on strengthening the responsibility under the criminal code for "drunk" accident.

According to the document:

in addition, the law toughens penalties for the act in a state of intoxication similar crimes on railway, air, Maritime and inland water transport and subway, making changes in the publication 263 of the Criminal code.

Also the category of serious offences are added to careless acts, for an act which the maximum punishment does not exceed fifteen years of punishment.
