The head of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has appointed a new Prime Minister of the Republic Roman Golovchenko, reports Sputnik of Belarus.

before Golovchenko was Chairman of the State military-industrial Department. In this position he will be succeeded by Deputy head of Department Dmitry Pantus.

First Deputy Prime Minister, for his part, was Nikolai Snopkov, who since January has worked as Ambassador of Belarus in China. The Minister of Finance appointed the first Deputy head of Department Yuri Seliverstov.

yesterday Lukashenko signed a decree about the dismissal of the government. Plans to form a new composition of the Council of Ministers before the presidential election to be held on August 9, he announced at the end of may. The head of the country noted that the vast majority of Ministers will remain at their posts.
